I have gone to numerous restaurants and have ordered the Shrimp Tempura. I believe Gyotaku makes the best I've eaten and recommend it to everyone.

The tonkatsu curry is amazing! The portions are plentiful and the taste is like you're in Japan! Premium cut, tender and most of all ono! That's my go to favorite dish but all your dishes are amazing!

I had one of those meals that stays with you long after you leave the table. 🌿✨ The early Bird Special was absolutely unforgettable perfectly prepared teriyaki Beef and shrimp tempura, California roll. Deeply flavorful, and balanced in a way that felt both comforting and elevated. The salad crisp and cold, the miso soup was perfection, and every bite tasted thoughtful, like real care went into the seasoning and cooking. And then came dessert… the green tea shave ice with azuki beans. Best on the Planet! 🍧🍵 It was pure joy in a bowl. The matcha flavor was beautifully earthy and refreshing, and the sweet azuki beans added the perfect creamy richness. Light, delicate, incredibly satisfying, and comforting. What made the experience even more special were the families that gathered together and the joyful atmosphere. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind, creating a space that felt less like a restaurant and more like being welcomed into a large family gathering. There was a beautiful sense of aloha in the room that made the whole experience feel comfortable, joyful, and authentic. If you appreciate flavors that are both comforting and beautifully crafted — served fresh, crispy, and clean in a place that truly feels like family, this is a spot worth visiting. I'll definitely be coming back for that shave ice again. 🌺

As usual, Gyotaku did it again! My "special" was ono, oishii, delicious! The meal was a generous amount and I even took home leftovers. I will be back!!! Mahalo for always having the best Japanese dishes!

I always come with my family to Gyotaku, the food is great. We all have our favorites that we enjoy eating. Besides the great food, the employees have great customer service too.
